Free, in detail

A free account opens the first section of every one of the thirteen subjects, on both papers, with no card and no time limit. That is thirteen real sections rather than a handful chosen for you, which is the point: you can judge the writing across the whole syllabus before paying anything. Each unlocked section carries the same cited content and the same single best answer questions the paid tiers get, not a cut-down preview.

Daily review is included. It is a spaced-repetition flashcard queue drawn from whatever you can already access, resurfacing the rule you are closest to forgetting rather than working a fixed deck in order. So are the confidence tracker, the margin notes panel and the study planner, all of which are on every plan.

What Free does not include: revision maps, calculation exercises, priority practice, and mocks of any kind. There is no per-subject mock and no FLK paper on Free. It is enough to decide whether the course suits you. It is not enough to prepare on.

Standard, in detail

Standard removes the one-section limit entirely. Every section of every subject unlocks on both papers, with the full cited question bank behind each one, and it costs £34.99 a month or £89 for three months.

Revision maps turn each subject into an interactive map of its rules, tests and key dates, revealed one branch at a time so that you are recalling rather than re-reading. A separate quick-reference sheet gathers every key date and every multi-limb test across subjects for a fast skim before the exam.

Worked calculation exercises cover the numbers examiners actually test: Capital Gains Tax, Corporation Tax, Income Tax, National Insurance Contributions and Value Added Tax within Business Law and Practice, Inheritance Tax within Wills and Administration of Estates, Stamp Duty Land Tax within Property Practice, limitation-period calculations within Dispute Resolution, and client account calculations within Solicitors Accounts. Each step is graded on its own, with a worked answer once you submit it.

Priority practice pulls a subject's highest-priority questions, weighted toward whatever you are getting wrong most often, and reveals the answer immediately after each one rather than holding it back to a result screen.

On mocks, Standard gives two things. A subject mock is a timed test of one subject alone: choose ten, twenty or thirty questions and the clock runs continuously at SQE1 pace, one minute forty-two seconds a question, with a score and a full error log once you submit. The half-length paper samples across a whole FLK's subjects into one ninety-question sitting at the same pace. Standard also adds a friends leaderboard, ranked by XP against people you add inside the app.

Premium, in detail

Premium starts from the complete Standard plan and adds the full-length rehearsal. It costs £49.99 a month or £129 for three months.

The full mock is 180 questions for each FLK, the real SQE1 sitting size. It splits into two sealed ninety-question sessions with a sixty-minute break between them, the same structure as the real assessment day, and submitting session one locks its answers before session two opens. Both sessions run at SQE1 pace with no feedback on any question until the whole paper is in. A score and a full error-log review follow, with the correct answer, the explanation and the citation for everything missed. You can choose an exam-realistic, balanced or hard mix before you start, and the shorter ninety-question paper stays available for a faster readiness check between full sittings.

Premium also adds pre-built flashcard decks for every subject, separate from the daily-review queue every plan gets, and unlock-all revision, which lets you skip ahead through a subject's stage map without clearing every earlier stage first. The global leaderboard ranks you by XP against every learner on the platform, alongside the friends leaderboard from Standard.

Which one you actually need

Free is for deciding. Standard is for covering the syllabus properly, which is what most candidates need for most of their preparation. Premium is for the last stretch, when the knowledge is largely in place and what is left is rehearsing the format at full length. Moving up unlocks everything immediately, from the same account you already created.
