Every one of these is a job with a name, a deadline and a price, rather than a department you have to translate. Our flagship is SQE exemptions. The rest are the problems that do not need a law firm and should not cost like one. If yours does need one, we say so at the start rather than the end.
Qualifying as a solicitor
The flagship. For lawyers already qualified somewhere else.
Money owed, and judgments against you
We prepare the documents; you file them and attend. That division is why it costs a fraction of instructing a firm to run it.
Remove a CCJ
A credit check came back with a judgment on it, and you either never saw the claim or you have already paid.
A judgment you never received, or one you have since paid. We prepare the application to set it aside, cancel it, or mark it satisfied.
Send a letter before action
You have asked three times, been ignored three times, and the next email will be ignored too.
Owed money, or owed work that was never done. A letter that complies with the pre-action rules and reads like the last one before a claim.
Prepare a small claim
The letter before action did not work, and the online claim form is asking for "particulars of claim".
The track is designed for litigants in person, which is not the same as easy. We prepare the claim, the witness statement and the bundle.
Property, tenancies and parking
Notices, deposits and penalty charges, where the deadline is usually the whole game.
Appeal a parking ticket
A notice arrived, there is a discount deadline on it, and the online form wants a reason you do not have.
Council PCN or private parking charge. We draft the appeal on the ground that actually wins, and tell you when it is not worth fighting.
Challenge a deposit deduction
The tenancy ended, the deposit did not come back, and the deductions list reads like an invoice for a new kitchen.
Your landlord kept part of the deposit. We build the scheme dispute, deduction by deduction, with the evidence each one needs.

A notice has to be served, or one has arrived, and everything turns on whether it was done correctly.
A notice that fails on a technicality costs months. We draft it, check the prerequisites and get the dates right, for either side.
